Why Did The Peacock Cross The Road

Well besides the fact that I think my friends are on imaginary drugs (the effects of which are still the same)....

Peacocks....

Who could have thought that one colorful animal could come up in conversation so much.

So..I'm LARPing tomorrow. I have to admit I still have no clue what the heck it is but my hall is making shields tonight. And being the artistic group of girls we all are we decided to decorate the front of our shields.

Keep in mind the joke of the night was the imaginary peacock that was "seen" crossing the road.

So, out of this new found interest in peacocks I was asked to paint one of the extra shields for the LARP battle with peacock feathers.

Then a friend of mine also decided to paint peacock feathers on her shield. Remember this is for an EPIC LARP (Live Action Role Playing) battle where the brave heart theme is taken very seriously by the boys partaking.

Well that's not even close to the theme of my hall. There will not be dragons and skulls, or war and blood. NO. There is flowers, rainbows, clouds, lightning bolts and clouds on our shields. Oh and don't forget the peacock feathers.

With this kind of destruction, we're sure to win the battle! Because realistically who looses with peacocks!
