Today...well should I say the events that started yesterday, was the all night Junior/Senior Extravaganza.
The night would commence with ice cream Sundays, then proceed to cosmic bowling and laser tag, then finally conclude with Denny's.
Refreshments provided included a variety of energy and coffee drink; I couldn't resist so I snagged two red bulls and a coffee frap from the stockpile of goodies. This was the beginning of the all night insanity theme for the night. I'm sure the ice cream Sundays and constant sugar consumption didn't lend itself well to the situation.
Anyway, after the ice scream Sundays we moved to cosmic bowling; an activity I have ABSOLUTELY NO!!!! skills toward....my highest score of the evening being a 59. :) The event was accompanied by the most random assortment of music I have ever heard in my life; from Hannah Montana and High School Musical, to 50s bubble gum pop and classic Journey. That radio DJ got no points in my musical score book.
Next, I gulped down my first energy drink of the night (one of the red bulls I snagged earlier on) and headed to laser tag. The car ride topped over a hundred miles per hour, thanks to my very enthusiastic pilot friend's driving expertise.
Laser Tag!...well this was my first experience and let me just say how fantastic it was. I might seriously have found a new hobby. Besides it being a rush its also is kind of a work out (at least to my out of shape thighs). The flashing lights and siren noises were the perfect addition to the forty college students running around. This actually tool place at about 3:30am. Crazy right?, but the excitement and experience of it all canceled out my exhaustion. Just to be save though I drank another energy drink (the second of the red bulls I had grabbed earlier) and headed toward the final destination of the night...Denny's!
The car ride this time involved windows down,PINK blaring, and voiced belting....SO WHAT I'M STILL A ROCK STAR I GOT MY ROCK MOVES AND I DON'T NEED YOU, GUESS WHAT I'M HAVING MORE FUN AND NOW THAT WERE DONE I'M GONNA SHOW YOU TONIGHT!
At about 5:30am the final stragglers of the evening pulled back into school. The lucky few of us would have to be up in exactly three hours for a ladies tea party.
Regardless of my long day(s) of sleeplessness, it was a wonderful experience. It was a one time event for me, as a senior graduating in the fall I will never get the opportunity to have a school sanctioned event like this again, which was why I had only one shot to make it memorable...and it SURE WAS!
Yay! for picking the blue drink....oh your going to toast now....well you can't toast as good as me cuz you don't have a blue drink, blue, blue, blue....hahaha (yea I guess you had to be there for that memory).
Peace and Love,
