A Little Something For My Bug

Today is my precious baby sisters birthday....today she is 15.

It seems like just yesterday she was three and every one was calling her "Dally Wacky" due to her vivacious personality. Its been twelve years since then an her personality is still that same goofy little girl. However, with the years come wisdom and bravery that no other fifteen year old I know has.

My bug...
     My little sister...
           My best friend....
                Oh how I Love you!

My sister and me are extremely close. Regardless of our six year age difference, shes a mini better model of the person I am. She is far more advanced in life than I ever was; with my brains, beauty, and bronze...except has all the good without all the bad. And trust me I have many bad  faults and have made mistakes, to get to where I am in life now.

But NO, she hasn't! My sister is the most well rounded person I have ever known and to be absolutely honest, she will most likely be that same person to me my entire life. She is my best friend; the person I talk to for hours, laugh all night with, share secrets, and go shopping with. She would do anything for me, and I would do anything for her.
It would be normal for most people to say that their younger siblings look up to them, but you don't hear a lot of stories about older siblings who look up to their younger siblings, but I do. She inspires me everyday to be better than I am...or at least better than how "the world" tries to see me. She encourages me and loves me regardless of my decisions, and with her heart and passion for God I know she has the power to change the world.

SERIOUSLY, if you don't believe me you just might want to meet this girl. She's incredible! And honestly if any one is going to change the world for the better, it's going to be her. So watch out!

I think people with the privilege of having wonderful siblings  need to recognize such things, because people like MY sister, who have outstanding and unique characteristics to do things I cannot even imagine...well they need to be recognized.

So, here's to you Bug. Happy Birthday!

Peace and Love,
The gal in the red glasses
